Pre-weaning nutrition and calf health - getting them off to a flying start

Nutrition and health are absolutely key to ensuring growth and performance in young calves. The preweaning period sees the highest mortality  and yet is a period where feed efficiency is at its highest.

Dr Jessica Cooke from Volac will discuss the importance of early life nutrition and how to maximise growth through the milk feeding period and Dr Ailsa Milnes from Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health will discuss the relevance of BRD and what options there are to use vaccines to reduce disease and antibiotic use.
