• TBAS – TB Risk and Reduction Measures

Discussion about bovine TB as an infectious disease and identification of areas where measures could be put in place to reduce the risk of TB entering, or being recycled, on the farm.

Sharing the science and evidence about the bacteria, how it survives in various environments and the limitations of the tests and how all this could impact your TB risk.

What can be done to reduce if not eliminate the risk pathways, in a bespoke way for your business.

• Speaker: Sarah Tomlinson BV&S MRCVS, Kingshay Veterinary Consultant, TB Advisory Service Technical Director. Sarah is a Women in Dairy member and an RABDF board member, she is also the technical director for TBAS and was a farm vet in Derbyshire for 20 years.

All are welcome and your first meeting is free. Thereafter Women in Dairy Membership is £45 per year.
