Women in Dairy Spring Meeting - Dorset

  • Longmoor Farm Longmoor Farm Cottage, Gillingham SP8 5QW United Kingdom (map)

By kind permission of Stuart and Helen Rogers, Longmoor Farm Cottage, Gillingham SP8 5QW

Join Women in Dairy to meet the 2025 Dairy Industry Women of the Year Award:

  • Welsh Farmer and Vet Claire Whittle

Join us for an inspiring day on the farm with hosts Helen Rodger and her husband, Stuart, winner of the Farm Carbon Toolkit Carbon Farmer of the Year award. On their 125-hectare farm, 240 cows are milked twice a day, and every corner is managed with purpose—blending productivity with sustainability through innovative agroforestry that provides shelter, forage, and shade.

We’re also delighted to welcome Claire Whittle, Dairy Industry Woman of the Year 2025. Known for her engaging style and practical approach, Claire connects with farmers across the country through thought-provoking social media, webinars, and even dung beetle safaris—showing how simple changes can make a big difference to animal health, biodiversity, milk production, and environmental impact.

Expect a hands-on, insightful day packed with ideas, discussion, and fresh inspiration. The event will take place outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather and farm terrain.

We’d love for you to join us for what promises to be a lively, informative, and enjoyable day on the farm!

Lunch and refreshments will be provided and there will be plenty of time for networking and discussion.
