Sarah Bolt, Women in Dairy Advisory member and Facilitator along side Becca Cavill from Women in Dairy National Sponsor, Boehringer Ingelheim, will lead the In this meeting and discuss strategies to improve livestock welfare through effective pain management. The focus will be on the use of Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) across different classes of livestock. We will explore how NSAIDs can reduce pain and enhance animal welfare. Topics will include identifying signs of pain in animals, understanding the effects of various NSAIDs, and practical applications in diverse livestock groups. The aim is to develop better pain management practices and set higher welfare standards in the livestock industry.. Hopefully delegates will be able to take the Lean skills home with them to implement change on their own farms.

All are welcome to attend, and the events are free for Women in Dairy and RABDF members. Tickets are £15 for non-members, which gives a £10 discount against a membership subscription.
