*Youngstock Rumen Development - Weaning Through To Grazing*
All are invited (yes, this includes men!) to join Women In Dairy Shropshire at Alkmund Park, Berwick on Tuesday 22nd April in discussion on heifer rumen development being led by the team at NWF.
We will cover all stages of rumen development from milk calf to in-calf heifer, daily grass requirements, and measuring and working out allocations. We will also take a short walk to see the in-calf heifer group (if anybody is interested we can also go to the milking unit at the end of the day).
Arrival from 10 30, start of discussion for 11 00, finished by 3pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Booking is essential to ensure correct catering levels! First time attendance is free, thereafter a Women In Dairy/RABDF membership is required. Don't forget - April is renewal month!
*Please note - the address does not bring you right to where you need to be. The driveway off of the main road will be made obvious.*
