By kind invitation of Lauren Pincombe & Josh Fincham:

- A tour of Hampreston Manor Farm
Hampreston Manor Farm has 270 fresian crossbred autumn block calving cows, focusing on producing milk from forage, extended grazing and utilising a self feed system when housed. With 150 home reared followers there is a big focus on calf health. The farm has been in the Trehane family for over 100 years and Josh took over the management of the farm in 2018 and the contract farming agreement 2021. Josh has always aspired to run a dairy farm since his younger Saturday job days, whilst Lauren graduated as a vet in 2019. Together they manage the dairy herd to maintain our high welfare standards and quality milk production.
All are welcome and your first meeting is free. Thereafter Women in Dairy Membership is £45 per year.
