*Calf Pneumonia - Inside and Out*
All invited (yes, this includes men) to join Women In Dairy Shropshire to discuss all things calf pneumonia.
The group has been kindly reinvited to Beestons, Market Drayton to see their completed calf facilities which were still in construction when we last visited.
The day will be split into two halves, the first of which will be led by Lewis Hodgson of Nantwich Farm Vets along with input by site manager James Ailsby on the protocols in place on the farm, as well as a lung scanning demonstration.
The second half of the day will be led by Chloe Rodriguez of Galebreaker, where she will discuss the role of housing.
The main event will be held around the calf facilities, however if time allows there may also be a farm walk.
Anyone involved in dairy, from farm to farm office and throughout the industry, is welcome!
Arrival from 10:30am to start discussion for 11am - finished by 3pm.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided – please get in touch re any dietary requirements. Everyone welcome and your first meeting is free, thereafter Women in Dairy Membership is £45 per year.
